Brief

To enact a simple hand gesture and document it by a plan, elevation and a point and line diagram through manual drawing.

Process

Using a video camera, the movement was documented. Slowing the video down into key frames, analysis ensued.  The movement was then studied through a top and side view. Leading to the creation of a point and line diagram, and using that as the reference the final motion was drafted with the french curve.

Outcome

Throughout this study I was able to explores a number of issues that are fundamental to design drawing: measurement, recording, scale, projection and editing.
